Hi, my name is Yvonne
I have been a Hairdresser for more than 35 years.
Those years were made up of my apprenticeship at a seaside salon called Michelle's in Walton on Naze, were I obtained many qualifications
(they are all listed on information page)
I went on to being a Senior Stylist for British Airways,
I got to do Pilot's & Stewardesses' hair.
I then decided to have my own Salon in Colchester town centre,
near the castle.
After nearly 11 years, I felt I needed a new challenge.
So now I am very happy being a
Friendly Mobile Wedding & Prom Hair & Makeup Specialist
& a Freelance Hairdresser.
Also available is Mobile Airbase Airbrush Makeup,
which is a Professional, Silicone based with flawless results
I do Makeup myself and also work with other Makeup Artists
to help with the Wedding morning time line

Also, since going mobile I have done hair for photo shoots and
my work has appeared in Hello Magazine.

Airbase Airbrush Makeup
A little about Airbrush
Airbrush makeup is sprayed onto the skin using an airbrush instead of being
applied with sponges, brushes, fingers or other methods.
It's water resistant which means it's resistant to sweat and tears
(These things happen at a wedding after all)
It's transfer resistant which means it won't rub off on
other people's clothes when hugging
It feels light yet can be full coverage
It's a filler!
